Stretching more than 450 miles across Nebraska, a road trip along Nebraska’s Lincoln Highway Historic Byway takes you from the beautiful Dissected Till Plains and bustling metro areas of the Missouri River Valley through the historic transportation corridor of the Great Platte River Road with its lush agricultural lands and wildlife of the Rainwater Basin and finally into the High Plains of the Nebraska Panhandle.
It passes through more than 40 communities, each with a rich Lincoln Highway heritage and distinctive settlement stories and culture.
